Aged Sheng Pu-erh
Yunnan, China
Ten years transforms raw pu-erh into something magical—dried fruits, camphor, and the patience of time.
The Story
Properly aged sheng pu-erh is one of tea's greatest treasures. The bitter, astringent character of youth transforms into dried fruit sweetness, camphor notes, and remarkable depth. True aged sheng is rare and expensive; much of what's sold is mislabeled or improperly stored. Finding authentic aged sheng is a quest unto itself.
