Earl Grey
Blend
Black tea kissed with bergamot oil. A classic that feels both familiar and exotic with every sip.
The Story
Named for a 19th-century British Prime Minister, Earl Grey's origins are murky but its popularity is not. The addition of bergamot—a citrus from Calabria—transforms ordinary black tea into something perfumed and exotic. Quality versions use real bergamot oil, not artificial flavoring, and balance the citrus with a tea that can stand up to it.

Brewing Tips
Earl Grey's bergamot can be overpowering in cheap versions—seek quality. It's divisive with milk; try both ways. Overbrew slightly for a lavender Earl Grey latte base.
