Lavender
Provence, France
Floral and calming, with that unmistakable scent of summer fields. Best blended or enjoyed solo before bed.
The Story
Lavender has been used for relaxation since ancient Roman baths (lavare means 'to wash'). French lavender from Provence is considered the finest for culinary and tisane use. The intense floral character can be overwhelming alone—many prefer it blended with other calming herbs or a touch of honey.

Brewing Tips
Start with less lavender than you think—it's potent. Culinary lavender is different from ornamental; make sure yours is food-safe. Blends well with chamomile, mint, or black tea (lavender Earl Grey). Honey helps balance the floral intensity.
