Meng Ding Huang Ya
Sichuan, China
From China's oldest tea mountain. Sweet, nutty, and wonderfully approachable for those new to yellow tea.
The Story
Meng Ding Mountain has grown tea for over 2,000 years and was the first place to cultivate tea intentionally. Meng Ding Huang Ya ('Yellow Buds of Meng Ding') carries this ancient heritage in every cup. The yellowing process removes the grassy notes of green tea while preserving sweetness, creating something uniquely gentle.

Brewing Tips
More forgiving than green tea—slightly higher temps won't ruin it. The sweet corn note is distinctive and delightful. This is the yellow tea to start with if you're curious about the category.
