Peppermint
Pacific Northwest, USA
Cool and refreshing, whether hot or iced. Clears the head and settles the stomach in one sip.
The Story
Peppermint is a natural hybrid of water mint and spearmint, cultivated for centuries for its intense, cooling flavor. The Willamette Valley in Oregon produces particularly fine peppermint, with high menthol content. It's one of the few tisanes that's equally satisfying hot or iced.

Brewing Tips
Fresh peppermint should smell intensely minty before brewing. Steep covered to keep the volatile oils in. Excellent iced—brew strong and pour over ice. Can be mixed with green tea for Moroccan-style mint tea.
