Purple Oolong
Kenya & Taiwan
Purple tea leaves processed oolong-style. Floral, fruity, and utterly unique.
The Story
A fusion of Kenyan purple tea cultivars with traditional oolong processing, Purple Oolong represents modern tea innovation. The partial oxidation develops flavors that neither green-processed purple nor traditional oolong can achieve alone. Some Taiwanese farmers have also begun experimenting with naturally purple-tinged oolongs from high mountain gardens.
